Job summary JOB SUMMARY The main role of this position is to deliver and develop the acupuncture service both internally within the FC and in partnership with Royal Surrey Cancer Centre .This is in order to develop and ensure a patient centred approach that promotes symptom control, support. Enhances quality of life, health and wellbeing, and honours the whole person in mind, body and spirit as they go through cancer treatment and beyond. The post holder will work closely with the integrative therapy lead and with a team complementary therapy/integrative staff and volunteers .The role encompasses supporting a team of volunteers to provide acupuncture and support on an outpatient and inpatient basis in the Fountain Centre as well as in settings across Royal Surrey Cancer Centre Cancer Centre, wards and outreach settings including other local hospitals. Main duties of the job JOB PURPOSE The Fountain Centre is an independent charity based within Royal Surrey Cancer Centre at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust (RSFT).
