My client is a well-established Birmingham organisation with a long-standing track record of supporting the local community.
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk based in South Birmingham to support our client on a short-term basis.
As Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the Finance Team, managing all aspects of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations. Specifically, your duties will include:
* Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage purchase and sales ledgers, process invoices, oversee aged debtors/creditors, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accurate supplier and donor records.
* Banking & Reconciliation: Import and reconcile bank statements, ensuring all transactions are accurate and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
* Finance Administration & Compliance: Maintain supplier accounts, manage the finance inbox, and stay updated on sector developments to enhance financial operations.
The most desirable applicant for the Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk will:
* Have demonstrable experience of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
* Be available at short notice (Ideally for an immediate start).
* Be able to travel to the South Birmingham office full time at the beginning of the contract, moving to a hybrid structure (3 days working from home).
