The WeighingUp Technician reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for all business Weighing up requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Weighing Up ingredients as required by Bakery and Savoury department into Batch sizes.
2. Decanting ingredients or packaging into appropriate containers.
3. Replenishing stock / Hoppers.
4. Ensure actions are carried out as planned and completed within agreed timescales.
5. Completing and maintaining all traceability records.
6. Maintain Weighing Up Room standards.
7. Fully comply with Hygiene and Food Safety compliance standards.
Shifts
The role is 45 hours per week, various day shift patterns available, starting at 4.30am/5am. The role will require working 1 in 4 Saturdays to support our 7-day operation, plus flexible working to cover for staff holidays, sickness, and busy periods.
Experience
1. Ability to carry out tasks to a high level of detail.
2. Good mathematical skills.
3. Effective time-management skills to achieve production targets within set timeframe.
4. Works well under pressure.
5. A basic understanding of the manufacturing process & ingredients.
6. Ability to communicate and influence with all levels of the business.
7. Good Oral Communication Skills.
Qualifications
A good standard of maths.
4 weeks holiday per year increasing incrementally each year to 5 weeks holiday per year (after 5 years continuous service) plus bank holidays. Staff discount.
