We are exclusively partnering with a well established solicitors practice in Epping, Essex.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Finance manager to oversee their day to day finance operations in house.
The role requires a minimum of 10 years experience working for solicitors practices or legal firms within the finance function. A clear understanding of Legal compliance and Solicitors accounts rules (SAR's).
Ideally AAT Qualified or Finalist on ACCA.
Key Requirements:
1. Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants.
2. Research and analyse financial reports and market trends.
3. Prepare detailed reports on the company's financial performance.
4. Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets.
5. Ensure legality and compliance in all financial functions, including compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR).
6. Produce timely and detailed monthly management accounts.
7. Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
8. Provide insightful information and expectations to the company directors to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
9. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
Requirements:
10. Proven experience as a Finance manager for a similar sized solicitors practise or legal firm.
