At Virgin Media O2, we are excited to launch multiple game-changing positions for Pre-Sales Technical Advisors!
As part of a newly formed technical desk, you'll be involved in providing technical support to assist front-line Sales teams with technical qualification of opportunities with a total contract value of up to £250k. Through direct engagement with both customer and sales team members, the successful candidates will be responsible for understanding the scope of the customer requirement, offering advice and guidance on product features/functions/limitations, and helping to propose a solution comprised of the VMO2 standard product/service best suited.
Our Pre-Sales Technical Advisors act as an interface between the sales teams, customers, and the broader solution design department and have accountability for gathering a full and accurate statement of requirements to underpin the customer's objectives. You'll play a crucial role in making sure VMO2 can fulfil Business customers requirements effectively!
The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:
1. Proven pre-sales background and experience with a Telecommunications or Service Integrator.
2. A working understanding of Pre-Sales processes, forecasting and bid stages.
3. Holding relevant Vendor certifications.
4. The ability to help our Sales teams in at least one of the following areas - Data & Security (IPVPN/SD-WAN/DIA/SIA/HCS), Digital Workplace & Voice (MS Teams Voice/MS Teams Phone Mobile/Webex/EUC/MDM), LAN Solutions (Cisco/Meraki Hardware and Licensing), Firewalls (SASE) or Cloud (AWS/Azure).
5. Experience in a customer facing environment with the confidence to present complex technical solutions to varying audiences.
