The Opportunity
This is your chance to lead the Access & Innovation Directorate, shaping its vision and driving its strategy. Reporting to the Managing Director of UK, Ireland, and MCEA, you will be responsible for a team of four direct reports and lead cross-functional collaboration across Market Access, Innovation, Business Development, Medical Affairs, and Public Affairs. Your role will focus on fostering a high-performing, inclusive organisation that thrives on ownership and accountability. By cultivating strategic partnerships and aligning with Roche’s corporate strategy, you will influence healthcare digitisation, operational efficiencies, and innovative market solutions. Balancing vision with execution, you will ensure financial and operational excellence, delivering sustainable results that align with our shared mission to improve lives.
Your Responsibilities
* Strategy Development : Lead the development and execution of the Access & Innovation strategy in alignment with Roche’s global and regional frameworks.
* Financial Management : Oversee the financial performance of the Directorate, managing budgets, resources, and operational efficiencies.
* Cross-Functional Leadership : Foster collaboration across diverse teams, including Market Access, Innovation, and Medical Affairs, to deliver integrated business solutions.
* Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with key partners in government, healthcare, research, and industry to strengthen Roche’s brand and impact.
* Talent Development : Drive talent acquisition and development to ensure the team has the skills and expertise to achieve both current and future goals.
* Ethical Leadership : Act as a role model for Roche values, promoting ethical behaviour and accountability within the team.
* Innovation : Lead the adoption and integration of innovative technologies and solutions to enhance healthcare delivery and accessibility.
* Compliance and Governance : Ensure compliance with local and global regulations, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance.
What Makes You the Ideal Candidate
* Qualifications : A university or professional medical degree or equivalent (MBA or postgraduate studies are a plus).
