The role: Security Officer for Estates, Security and Network
We are seeking a Security Officer who will be part of a two-person team managing the secure area and the high classification systems within it. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive and a natural self-starter but who can work as part of a team to deliver a quality service. You will work closely with the Personnel Security team on clearance issues and be the central point for induction briefings delivered to staff.
Key accountabilities:
1. Ensure that cleared staff have access and use the space and the systems within it appropriately.
2. Deliver induction briefings; ensuring that staff are fully aware of the fundamentals of STRAP.
3. Work closely with Account Managers and the Service Operations Centre to ensure that staff are able to access high classification systems.
4. Work closely with Security Coordinators to ensure breaches are investigated at pace.
Key requirements:
1. Previous experience within a secure environment.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Attention to detail.
4. Ability to prioritise time and work to deadlines.
5. Ability to be flexible and respond to changing priorities and demands.
DV highly desirable; candidates with active DV clearance will be fast-tracked.
