We are working with a brilliant education provider in Theale, West Berkshire that is looking for a passionate individual to enter the school in December 2024 as a Behaviour Support Worker. The position is a full-time role beginning in October in the Theale area, supporting students with additional needs or behaviour challenges throughout the school day.
Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Worker:
1. 1-1 support for students with SEMH needs
2. Observing triggers for challenging behaviours
3. Identifying self-regulation tactics when facing challenging behaviour
4. Setting goals for students to work towards
5. Participate in staff meetings to share observations and input on care plans
6. Keep students focused and engaged in lessons
