Job Description: Business Development Director, UK & EMEA Purpose A new position within NaughtOne for 2025, the role-holder will play a key role in spearheading growth initiatives and strategies to deliver new business opportunities to drive revenue growth across the UK & Ireland, Europe, Middle East & Africa. Managing the region’s sales teams and working with our senior leaders across the business, you will play an instrumental role in maximising revenue across all sectors & growing the global business to $100m by 2029. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans to meet and exceed business objectives Identify, evaluate and secure new business opportunities and partnerships Lead the new business focus and drive the strategies in place to develop long term relationships with the identified target market of dealer partners, architects and designers and other key customers Build and nurture robust relationships across the MillerKnoll family to drive shared growth Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. To liaise and submit monthly reports to Vice President of Global Sales and the Leadership Team Core Competencies The ideal candidate should possess strong market analysis, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth. Degree-level education Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, within the contract furniture industry Results oriented - you're passionate about driving tangible improvements in sales performance and have a proven ability to deliver results Proven track record of leading, empowering and developing a Sales team Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset - you're comfortable working with data, identifying trends and drawing actionable insights to inform decision-making Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce), data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Dimension of role Based from the NaughtOne showroom in central London, this role reports to the Vice President of Global Sales with a team of 8 direct reports. The role will involve frequently travel throughout the sales territory & you will need to work flexibly and be prepared to make early starts with the occasional evening event and occasional night away from home.
