Have you got an administration background in maintenance and looking for a new career? At NHS Highland, we have a full-time vacancy within our Estates Department for an Administration Manager for the helpdesk servicing NHS Highland North. The manager will be responsible for providing administration services for the department, in particular the helpdesk which receives a high volume of maintenance works requests.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and a motivated team player able to effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure that targets are met. They should also be adaptable to the use of new computer-based software systems.
The post is based at Raigmore, although there may be a requirement to travel to Caithness and Lochaber to meet up with team members based at those locations. The position will require effective management and an ability to prioritise work to contribute to the provision of excellent patient care.
What we are looking for:
* Experience of managing a team; although not essential, a maintenance background would be beneficial.
* A current UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
* Applicants must have recognised qualifications as detailed in the job description.
* Experience within a health care environment beneficial but not essential.
* A great team player who is self-motivated.
