Service Manager vacancy in Tarrant Monkton - Blandford Forum (037DM)
Position Overview
As a Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our site, ensuring that the company's procedures and processes are implemented effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of work across both the Delivery Team and Supply Chain, ensuring compliance with the company and client policies.
Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and direct line management to site-based teams while fostering a service-driven and adaptable work environment.
A key aspect of this role involves overseeing the delivery of both planned and reactive works. Through effective supply-chain management and resource allocation, you will maintain a proactive, agile, and adaptable approach to meet client needs.
Requirements
1. Managerial experience at Contract Manager or Senior Supervisor level within technical and/or hard services is essential.
2. A service-oriented mindset, with flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needs.
3. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and adjust strategies as required.
4. An industry-recognized qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or similar) in an engineering-related discipline.
5. Hands-on experience in recruitment, line management, and team supervision.
