We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Senior Structural Technician to support the Mission Critical strategy by supplementing the existing Water delivery team with experienced modelling capability. This role could be based from a number of our UK offices and can be worked flexibly with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and the option of adjusted start and finish times.
What does the role involve?
* The creation of 3D models in Revit.
* Coordination of structural models with wider design team.
* Adhering and engaging with project BIM requirements as defined in project BEP’s.
* Use of Autodesk construction cloud (ACC) docs, design collaboration and model coordination Common Data Environment.
* Use of project CDE.
* Ensuring BIM standards and quality of modelled information meets our Clients requirements.
* Independent Working within a team environment under the leadership of team management.
* Providing technical guidance, support and training to colleagues and assist, where practicable, in mentoring and development of others.
* Taking responsibility for the quality of BIM Models and any outputs produced.
To be successful in this role you’ll possess:
* Advanced level Proficiency in Revit.
* Significant previous experience of the preparation of BIM models including output documentation.
* Experience of coordination management in a Navisworks environment.
* The ability to communicate in a fluent and positive manner with other team members and to produce reports in plain English.
* Excellent drafting skills to produce 2D drawing output of the highest quality.
