We are looking for innovative, forward thinking clinician who has a background in Advanced Nurse practice &is an independent non-medical prescriber or working towards this qualification. You will haveexperience as a leader & working autonomously under your own initiative can respond to rapidly changing service priorities within a primary & acute care setting. Youwill be expected to perform comprehensive assessment of patients with urgent presentations & develop working diagnosis & treatment plans whilst working without direct supervision.
As a Lead Nurse, you will be a highly visual, dynamic, forward-thinking Nurse with excellent communication, leadership & organisational skills & the ability to motivate & support others through change & service development.You will be working clinically & have responsibility of line management by leading, monitoring, developing & appraise staff & learners. You will also provide professional guidance, leadership, & direction to the nursing teams across the organisation.
You may be required to travel to different sites across the Essex, Suffolk & Tendring area
You will play an integral role in the operational and strategic developments of the service across the UCRs pathway, by working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, ACP’s, Operational Clinical Matron, Service Manager and Senior Leadership Team to ensure the team is empowered and skilled in the delivery of outstanding care to service users across the pathway.
You will be supported in your development as an advanced practitioner by a mentor and a robust appraisal process and allocated time for continuing professional development will be allocated.
You must hold a relevant qualification with community experience or other comparable/transferable skills. You should have a good understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and treatment methods used in this specialist field and be adaptable to change and embrace innovation. The IUCRS team is a multi-disciplinary team based in Kennedy House Clacton-On-Sea, with other bases in Colchester. Our team delivers high quality care, 08:00 – 20:00 7 day a week within the Northeast Essex community. We will offer individually tailored induction, training, and support for successful candidates. A car driver is essential.
