We are The Edmund Trust, a charity that helps and supports people with learning & physical disabilities, complex needs & Autism within our local services: Supported Living, Respite, Community, and Residential Care.
We have a creative, bubbly, and energetic young person who is looking for a support worker to match their energy. This person enjoys dancing, being independent, active, playing games on the Wii, and arts and crafts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
2. Supporting individuals in engaging with community and social events.
3. Adapting to the varying needs of each person, ensuring their stay is enjoyable and comfortable.
No previous experience required as full training will be given.
The ideal candidate would have strong communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and independently, and possess a positive attitude.
A Full UK Drivers Licence is required for this role to meet the needs of the people we are supporting.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts is essential.
Full and part-time positions available.
FTE - £25,027.20 based on 40 hours per week
