A respected Boys' School in Westminster seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher (Male) to join our PE department. About the Role: Deliver engaging and dynamic Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level PE, covering a variety of sports, fitness activities, and health education. Develop and implement lesson plans that promote skill development, tactical understanding, and physical fitness, ensuring boys develop a strong foundation in sports and healthy lifestyles. Coach school sports teams, organize and manage sporting events, and provide opportunities for boys to compete at various levels. Assess student progress in physical activities, fitness assessments, and theoretical work, providing detailed and constructive feedback. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Physical Education, demonstrating a deep understanding of sports coaching, fitness training, and health education. Extensive experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary level, with a proven track record of engaging boys in sports and promoting their physical development. Strong coaching skills in various sports, including team sports, individual sports, and athletic training. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate boys from diverse backgrounds. A passion for sports and fitness and a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and positive values.
