The "Project Manager" role:

This role would suit creative-minded people with 2-4 years’ experience in project management within an agency environment. Excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to prioritise a busy workload are necessary, alongside proven customer and project management experience. As a Project Manager at Whitenoise, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects for our diverse client base. You will manage all aspects of project lifecycles, from initial client engagement through to final delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
* Work directly with the Head of Client Services and Studio Production Manager to strategise client activities and direction weekly, monthly and quarterly.
* Develop an understanding of the client’s business, researching and pursuing fresh insight into the client’s industry, competitor activity and opportunities for standout ideas and creative activities.
* Support Head of Client Services and other Project Managers in delivery of complex/high level jobs.
* Have contact with designated clients, developing and maintaining a close and productive relationship with relevant contacts.
* Respond promptly to client requests, managing expectations in terms of speed and delivery of response, using appropriate briefing/admin structures.
* Work with other Project Managers and the Studio Production Manager to ensure all jobs are scheduled on time and on budget.
Key responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
* Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Client Management
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
* Understand client needs and expectations, ensuring they are met or exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage client feedback and approvals, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Team Coordination
* Collaborate with creative, technical, and production teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
* Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitoring workload and productivity.
Quality Control
* Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and client specifications.
* Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks at various stages of the project.
* Implement and maintain best practices for project management and quality assurance.
Budget and Resource Management
* Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability.
* Monitor project expenses and resource utilisation, making adjustments as needed.
* Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and freelancers.
Risk Management
* Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines, quality, or budget.
* Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, decisions, and changes.
Reporting and Documentation
* Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management and clients.
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and meeting notes.
* Ensure all project files and assets are organised and accessible.
What would make you a good fit for this role?

* Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the creative industry (brand, animation, film, UI/UX).
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Monday.com and Streamtime).
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, project management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
