We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior HRBP to join our team, playing a pivotal role in franchising projects and subsequent transformation initiatives within Arriva UK Bus. This is an opportunity to contribute to major change programmes, support our growth agenda, and drive the development of innovative strategies and solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead HR Workstreams: Provide expert advice and guidance on all HR aspects of franchising programmes, including external stakeholder engagement, Trade Union partnerships, and collaboration with internal colleagues. Change Strategy Development: Create and deliver effective strategies for change programmes related to franchising, ensuring successful implementation. Support Growth Initiatives: Work closely with the Bid Director and Bid Team to support business growth through bid writing, responding to due diligence questions, and showcasing social value initiatives to demonstrate differentiation. TUPE Expertise: Develop and deliver TUPE mobilisation, demobilisation, and integration plans to ensure smooth transitions during organisational changes. Project Leadership: Collaborate across functions to manage transformation projects that enhance processes, workforce planning, and employer branding. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as an HRBP or similar role, with expertise in leading HR workstreams within complex change programmes. Strong knowledge of employment legislation, TUPE processes, and experience in managing Trade Union relationships. Excellent analytical skills to interpret market trends and drive strategic decision-making. Strong influencing and stakeholder management abilities. A creative approach to problem-solving and strategy development. Professional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail. Proficiency in HR systems and standard computer packages. Full UK driving license, as travel to various Arriva locations will be required. This role could be based anywhere within a reasonable distance of any of our UK Depots. However, this role will be national with travel to other locations as required. As a rule of thumb, the expectation is that you will have a presence in depots at 2-3 days per week. Why Join Us?
