This well-known household name is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pensions Administrator (Projects) to support the Pensions Administration team. In this role, you will handle technical administration cases and project calculations across a Defined Benefit (DB) Scheme. Key Responsibilities: Project Support: Assist with data analysis, cleansing, and testing for cyclic and key pension projects. Member Calculations: Complete pension calculations and manage correspondence for members, ensuring timely completion within SLA. High Earners & Legislative Controls: Manage calculations for high earners, ensuring compliance with legislative controls for protection. Quality Assurance: Perform QA checks on colleague communications to ensure compliance with pension technical and legislative requirements. Compliance & Reconciliation: Update and reconcile worklists to ensure ongoing compliance with pension regulations. Transfer Case Reviews: Review pension transfer cases, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and best practices. Audit Support: Assist auditors with queries during the annual audit process. Complaint Handling: Review and manage complaint or historic pension transfer cases, ensuring swift resolution and compliance. Complex Calculations: Complete and review complex member calculations, maintaining SLA targets. Compliance Processes: Support all processes aimed at maintaining compliance, minimizing escalations, and resolving complaints efficiently. Professional Development: Support team members in their pursuit of PMI exams. Process Improvement: Take initiative to improve internal processes, driving efficiency and operational excellence. Relevant Experience: 3 Years of DB Pension Scheme Administration: Proven experience in administering Defined Benefit pension schemes, including managing member benefits and complex calculations. Technical Benefit Calculations: Experience in performing and reviewing detailed pension benefit calculations. UK Pension Legislation Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of current UK pension legislation and regulations. Operational Skills: Prioritisation and time management skills to manage workloads effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear correspondence and presentations. Highly numerate and analytical, with project experience. Strong teamwork ethic with a willingness to help colleagues. Highly motivated and keen to learn.
