About The Role
A great 12-month fixed term contract opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into a career in treasury as a Treasury Analyst.
Working in the Liquidity team, the Treasury Analyst will support the Society to manage its liquidity risk via ongoing monitoring and ad hoc analysis.
The person in post will play a role in ensuring the [Group] holds sufficient liquidity to exceed its internal and regulatory obligations. This includes production of regular reporting and the ongoing analysis of customer trends to identify changes in behaviour that may allude to risks not captured. These considerations are required on both a daily basis and over the strategic planning period to identify opportunities to reduce excess liquidity held.
About You
For the role of Treasury Analyst, we are looking for someone who is passionate about numbers and analysis and can evidence strong numerical ability either through professional experience or academic studies.
To be successful in this role its essential that you will:
1. Be an advanced user of Excel and be able to evidence this
2. Have strong attention to detail and be unfazed by deadlines
3. Be comfortable presenting information and collaborating with colleagues across the business.
4. Have the ability to evidence your strong numerical ability.
5. Be a keen learner, with resilience and the ability to adapt to change
Desirable Experience Needed Will Be
1. Experience working in a treasury related role
2. Experience working in Financial Services industry
