Job summary We are very excited to announce that we are recruiting to the position of Principal Maxillofacial Prosthetist/Reconstructive Scientist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT). We are a busy unit situated in the centre of London next to London Bridge train station and The Shard and a short walk from the River Thames and Borough Market. Main duties of the job We are looking for applicants that can providea wide range of highly-specialist maxillofacial prosthetic devices and 3D planning for a diverse range of patients and must be competent in all areas of maxillofacial prosthetics. The successful applicant must be able manage their own caseload andwork autonomously to provide a high level of service to our patients and service users. They will participate in patient clinics, design and manufacture highly complex specialised maxillofacial prosthetics devices and attend multi-disciplinary team meetings when required. Under the guidance of the Consultant Maxillofacial Prosthetist they will facilitate teaching and be responsible for providing training to STP students within the department. About us The successful applicant will be part of a team of four maxillofacial prosthetists/reconstructive scientists and three orthodontic technical members of staff.
