Our team works closely and collaboratively with service users, their families and the referrer to provide a seamless pathway from referral to discharge. Your day-to-day Working as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and under the supervision of the Lead Occupational Therapist, the post holder will be expected to: As the Patient Engagement Lead, you'll be responsible for the improvement and stability of patient engagement activities and patient satisfaction through effective service user engagement and peer led forums, the planning and delivery of projects/programmes in line with patients needs and priorities, involving patients in project and training delivery. To generate innovation suggestions within the service user population as to how this might be achieved, guiding and supporting as necessary through group activities, 1:1 interaction and day to day support. To collaborate with the Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social work and nursing team to promote and facilitate meaningful and therapeutic activities both in the hospital and in the local community. To be inclusive and use National awareness days to guide celebrations a-site and also be advocates for specific events the hospital staff want to celebrate. To facilitate service user involvement and engagement across all three wards To support in increasing carer engagement across the hospital and wards. Manage the internal communications of the hospital (My Cygnet-intranet/Newsletter) To play an active part in promoting good public relations in the locality so as to increase public awareness of, and support for, the aims and objectives of the Hospital as a whole. To attend staff meetings and service users review meetings and make a valuable contribution. Preparing and presenting any necessary reports. To evaluate the outcome of any service user led projects in conjunction with the relevant heads of departments and progress initiatives as appropriate, under supervision.
