An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Darlington Borough Councilandrsquo;s Development Management team.andnbsp; andnbsp;We are seeking to recruit a Planning Assistant to join a busy and committed team dealing with planning applications with a focus on the delivery of economic initiatives and quality place making.andnbsp;
Your main responsibility will be to manage a caseload of more straightforward planning applications, enquiries and appeals, as well as other similar tasks as may be necessary from time to time.andnbsp; You will demonstrate the ability to work and contribute as part of our friendly and committed team of planners and support staff, have some experience of dealing with planning application, be well-organised and with an eye for detail and thoroughness.andnbsp;
You should also be an effective communicator and show a clear commitment to providing outstanding customer service and be IT literate.
