Our client have an immediate requirement for a Health & Safety Coordinator / Manager on a Freelance basis for a 12 month contract duration. Project location - Ashby-De-La-Zouch Experience on automation systems and machinery safety requirements Experience on coordinating HS topics under CDM regulations NEBOSH qualifications IOSH membership PUWER assessments Work tasks: Working on site from 8am to 4pm, five days per week Management of safety paperwork our subcontractors Site registers, Temporary Work register, HS records, inductions, tool box talks, etc. Review the companies & subcontractors RAMS, provide feedback and suggestions for corrections submitting these to Principal Contractor Acting as the direct contact between Principal contractor HS department and the companies site team / operatives. Conduct safety walk rounds on a daily basis Give corrective instructions to personnel who are not compliant with rules Confirm Plant and Tools are in proper shape and tagged/inspected regularly (PUWER) Nice to have’s: AP qualification and knowledge to create lifting plans Face fit trainee qualification
