Applicants from Pharmacists that have completed or are working towards completion of a Pharmacy Clinical Diploma are welcome. In addition, we would actively support completion of the non-medical prescribing qualification, subject to funding.
Rotations will be 6 months in duration and will include rotating through different medical wards. Successful applicants will be required:
* To deliver, direct, develop and evaluate clinical Pharmacy services to the adult wards within the Medicine Division including: A&E, Urgent Care, Respiratory, Cardiology, General Medicine, Endocrinology and Care of the Elderly ward
* To promote the safe, effective, and economic use of medicines through a number of methods including the development of guidelines, teaching, training and audit.
* To coach, mentor and supervise those staff allocated and to participate in the provision of training to Pharmacy staff and other healthcare workers
* To develop own skills, knowledge, and expertise in all areas.
