Responsibilities:
1. Answering the telephone, booking appointments, and processing prescription requests.
2. Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments, and handling enquiries.
3. Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system; good IT skills are preferable.
4. Cleaning duties are involved.
As a receptionist, you will provide a friendly, efficient, and professional service to our clients and their animals. You will need to be able to work within a team, sometimes under high pressure.
Experience: Previous veterinary receptionist experience would be preferable but not essential.
Hours:
1. Tuesday 9.30 - 7.30
2. Wednesday 9.00 - 6.00
3. Thursday 8.30 - 6.30
4. Friday 08.30 - 17.30
5. Alternate Saturdays 08.30 - 17.30
This position will be based at our Bideford branch, but cover may sometimes be needed at our branch practices, so transportation is essential.
