Responsibilities
The job holder will work closely with the Senior Development Manager and external Employers Agents to manage delivery of approximately 1000 plots in 2025. The role will include the administration of certification across circa 50 sites across GIM’s Joint Ventures.
* Assist with the delivery of a rolling programme of development sites.
* Assist with the consultant appointments of these projects.
* Assist with the monitoring of employer’s agent on all development sites.
* Visit sites to review progress on delivery.
* Assist with managing the relationships and administering the contracts between the JV’s and house builders.
* Help to manage the development risk management.
* Overseeing consultants who review design, planning and section 106 agreements.
* Overseeing JCT contracts.
* Managing the shared drive of all documents relating to inspections, handovers, planning, sectional agreements and all other related documents.
* Prepare and present monthly reporting.
* Any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training.
Qualifications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven track record of delivering development schemes.
* Driven can-do attitude and ability to manage significant work-flow.
* Background in Quantity surveying, Building Surveying or Project Monitoring
* Understanding of legal construction documents, planning and professional appointments.
* Understanding of Health and Safety.
* 2-3 years post qualified experience
* An organised individual with good attention to detail who can produce high quality reports.
* Able to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint packages to a high standard.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with housebuilders, developers & consultants.
* Ideally MRICS surveyor or MCIOB qualified although commensurate industry experience will be considered.
* Fundamental understanding of residential development process.
Location: Candidates can be Midlands or North based with regular travel to sites and the London office
Salary: up to c. £55k plus bonus
