Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a 2x permanent and 1x bank Portersbased at
University Hospital Ayr .
What you will do:
The Corporate Support Services is looking for a candidate to join the Portering Dept at Ayr Hospital providing - Portering/Meals/Security/Grounds/ Driving .
A flexible approach to both hours and shift patterns and Hospital Location is essential. Previous experience would be advantageous but full training will be given.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You are required to be numerate, literate and practical and have the ability to operate a wide range of vehicles and mechanical & moving aids.
The below knowledge and experience is essential for this role:-
Essential Criteria Clean Driving License Good Communication and customer care skills. Must have ability to use own initiative to anticipate and make appropriate decisions. Expected to work with minimal supervision. Flexible approach to work and working hours

- 37 hours per week over a 2 week rota Week 1 Mon/Tue/Fri 0900-2000 Sat 1130-1900 Sun1100-1900 Week 2 0900-2000 Wed/Thur 0900-1930 Fri
Post 2
- 15 hours Mon 0900-1700, Fri 1000-1800
Post 3
- Bank (as and when required)
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
A clean, valid drivers licence is essential for this role and you must provide evidence of this.
