About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Design & Technology Teacher who can engage students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of practical and theoretical expertise to the classroom, helping students develop essential design and engineering skills to prepare them for future careers in modern industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Design & Technology, incorporating traditional woodworking and metalworking techniques alongside modern technologies such as CAD and 3D printing.
* Monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to suit different learning needs and abilities.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and emerging trends in design and technology.
* Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student-led projects and hands-on learning.
* Organize and manage classroom resources effectively.
* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate design principles across different subjects.
