This is an ideal role for an RVN with experience in a referral centre or busy hospital, who is already in a head nurse position or ready to step up into a management role. While leadership will be a core focus, you’ll still get that all-important hands-on time with patients. You will motivate and inspire a team of RVNs, students, and nursing assistants, using your expertise to guide them in providing top-notch clinical care. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing new colleague inductions and conducting regular reviews Managing daily rotas and covering shifts when needed Organising and leading team meetings for RVNs, students, and assistants Managing lab equipment maintenance and overseeing the Dental Suite Overseeing the stray committee and rehoming efforts Providing clinical support on the hospital floor as needed You’ll also enjoy up to 3 admin days per week to focus on one-to-ones with colleagues and tackle day-to-day administrative duties.
