Reporting Line: Associate - Quality
About the role
To work alongside the Engineering projects teams across multi-disciplinary Projects, mainly supporting the Mission Critical Team, to maintain drawings and other documents that are received and issued regularly on large projects.
To be in control and manage the flow of information within the project team.
Key Deliverables
• Managing Inboxes and actioning emails and instructions, following set-out procedures
• Ensure deadlines are met and daily tasks completed
• Contribute to the development of Document Control Instructions on new projects
• Encourage good working practice alongside the Document Control Procedure & Guidelines
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the daily flow of documentation in and out of the business including drawings, specifications, reports, requests for information
• Manage large stage uploads at key stages of the project which could consist of 300+ drawings, working with the project team to ensure the deadline is met and QA checks are completed
• Quality checking drawing title blocks, ensuring correct protocols are followed
• Using web-based Document Management Systems such as Aconex, Viewpoint 4 Projects, Asite, BIM 360
• Updating document trackers in Excel
• Creating reports and taking ownership in resolving outstanding actions
• Client communication and building external relationships to ensure actions are being completed correctly and to minimise rejections

• Excellent Excel and Outlook skills
• Good communication skills at all levels
• Deputize in the absence of other Document Controllers
