Job summary
The team work to support the rapid transfer of care for patients who are being discharged home from hospital with short term support or who are being transferred to the Rehabilitation Units at Gosport War Memorial and Petersfield Community Hospitals.
The successful applicant must have proven experience within administration with excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. You must be proactive and able to cope well under pressure, possessing the ability to inspire and motivate others and constantly seeking out innovative ways to develop and improve the service we provide to patients.
You will work closely with the Reablement Flow Matron in the leadership and management of all administrative staff to including recruitment, appraisal, supervision, and personal development. The role will also include providing comprehensive admin support to the Head of Flow and senior leadership team.

Main duties of the job
To ensure the provision of a fully comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the team, to support the Reablement Flow Team Matron in the operational management of the service with the needs of the service user being the main priority. The principle of high quality customer care is at the heart of this role. The post holder will be required to work autonomously without direct supervision and have oversight and control of his / her own work in a complex healthcare environment which will include the involvement of a multitude of key stakeholders, including clinicians and outside agencies.
