Our globally recognised client is looking for entry level Slaughter Operatives.
Monday to Friday with 40 to 45 hours a week. The ideal candidate will start at 6am and be flexible with their finish times.
The ideal candidate will learn key principles of the abattoir, such as:
1. Learn and identify different parts/by-products/cuts/joints of meat.
2. Be involved in the slaughter and full breakdown of red meat.
3. Learn the principles of processing red meat carcasses and by-products.
4. Apply food safety and hygiene standards along with health and safety standards.
5. Carry out any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder.
Requirements:
1. No previous experience in slaughter and/or knife skills required.
2. Commitment to company values.
