We're looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team providing additional support. If you're someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in keeping things organised. This role is offered on an initial 6 month, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM. What you will be doing as the Warehouse Operative Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, either manually or using a forklift Checking for damaged or missing items and sorting stock for storage or distribution Accurately putting goods away into the appropriate storage spaces Picking and packing customer orders efficiently and within set targets Maintaining accurate stock records using warehouse management systems Assisting with inventory checks and reporting as needed Supporting operational efficiency by following procedures and schedules Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised warehouse and yard area Completing daily equipment checks and promptly reporting any issues Liaising with suppliers to manage stock of consumables and packaging materials Experience, skills and attributes required Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment Self-motivated and comfortable working independently or as part of a team Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable using stock control systems and IT-based records Forklift experience preferred (licence not essential but an advantage) What's in it for you?
