If the answer is yes then this role could be for you We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Housekeeper at Rutland Memorial Hospital. The ward provides sub-acute care, rehabilitation and palliative care services and is one of thirteen wards which form the Trusts Inpatient Community Health Services division. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact jacqueline.mitchell17nhs.net The working hours are 07.30 -17.30 which will be worked over a roster in conjunction with our other Housekeepers covering Monday to Sunday including bank holidays. Main duties of the job Housekeepers are a vital part of our ward teams and aid the nursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care. This role includes but is not limited to - Helping patients with their nutrition and hydration to include serving meals, assisting patients to feed themselves or feeding them. Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming ward environment. Sitting with patients who may require one to one support and supervision. Managing stores and store rooms. Working closely with the Ward Manager in maintaining and monitoring clinical and environmental standards including the use of audit tools.
