About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled IPS Employment Specialist to join our team and provide personalized support to customers in achieving their employment goals. This role involves managing a caseload, developing tailored support plans, and working closely with customers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of customers with mental health issues and other barriers to work, developing personalized support plans to help them secure employment and return to the workplace.
* Work collaboratively with customers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored support, identifying and addressing any barriers to employment such as mental health issues or lack of skills.
* Maintain accurate records of customer progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, contributing to the continuous improvement of employment services.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £27,500 per annum, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a contributory pension scheme.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience of working with vulnerable adults, particularly those with mental health issues.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
* Good understanding of employment law and current employment initiatives.
