We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Curriculum Lead in Higher Education - Business to join our team. The overall purpose of this post is to play an essential role in the operational management of the relevant School at the local level and in the successful development of the reputation of the School in relation to the quality assurance and enhancement of learning, teaching, and the student experience. The post holder will work closely with peer Curriculum Leaders and the School Director as a member of the School Leadership Team, leading the relevant subject area, line managing subject staff, and contributing significantly to the effective functioning of the School and the creation of vibrant communities of learning practice. The post holder will be responsible for leading the Higher Education Business subject area across UCNL and UCDon.
Essential Requirements
* A relevant postgraduate qualification in Business or a related field.
* Significant experience in teaching and curriculum development in higher education.
* Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
* Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and the enhancement of learning and teaching.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High degree of flexibility and adaptability to perform effectively in the role.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in education.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Lead the Higher Education Business subject area across UCNL and UCDon.
* Work closely with peer Curriculum Leaders and the School Director as part of the School Leadership Team.
* Line manage subject staff, ensuring high standards and aspirations are maintained.
* Contribute to the operational management of the School at the local level.
* Develop and enhance the reputation of the School through quality assurance and the enhancement of learning, teaching, and the student experience.
* Foster a culture of high standards, innovation, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
* Motivate and inspire staff to assume delegated responsibilities and achieve challenging targets.
* Create vibrant communities of learning practice within the School.
