The school has modern facilities, including a large SEN department on the second floor with sensory rooms, quiet rooms, and a sensory garden. The school is also conveniently located near public transport.
Assignment Details
The role will start ASAP at the school once the staff member is active for work. The position involves working Monday to Friday from 9am until 12pm off campus in a local library. The role will also involve working on a one-to-one basis with pupils.

Person Specification for SEN Tutor
* Experience working with young people in either a school setting or a similar environment (e.g., NCS, sports coaching).
* Confidence in leading a class of children aged 11-16 years.
* Ability to work well with challenging behaviour.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Willingness to undergo continual professional training.
* Able to work effectively under pressure and think on your feet.
* Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a good sense of humour.
* Able to commute to Newark and surrounding areas.
