Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust
IUCS Single Point of Access Call Advisor
Do you want to make a difference? Are you looking for a role with less physical demands and a varied workload? We have exciting opportunities for reliable and passionate Health Advisors within our Single Point of Access Team.
We offer various full-time and part-time shift patterns - please see attached rotas and unsocial hours allowance as per section 2 Agenda for Change.
As an NHS SPoA Call Advisor, you will provide a high-quality person-centred approach to care delivery, considering people's safety, privacy and dignity at all times. You will be responsible for taking accurate details from Health Care Professionals and inputting referrals to be sent to the appropriate team.
Main duties of the job
Based within the Dorset Integrated Urgent Care hub at St Leonard's in Dorset, you will manage a caseload of patients referred to the SPoA team via phone and email referral from a variety of care settings including GP surgeries, 999, Acute hospital wards, NHS 111, and other Care teams.
You will actively promote and contribute to a performance culture in relation to the SPoA Team and Integrated Urgent Care service as well as all other services provided by the organisation, particularly within the St Leonard's hub.
Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
