Senior Educational Psychologist (SEP)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Educational Psychologist to join our dynamic and caring Educational Psychology Service.
The role is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a significant contribution to the service, developing and delivering high-quality psychological services that support the needs of children, young people, and their families.
About Our Service
Our team is well-regarded within the Local Authority and other stakeholders, and we are actively building capacity in the service to meet demand and pioneer innovative practices.
We prioritise protected delivery of traded services for all non-statutory work and offer centralised traded training with opportunities to develop expertise.
All Educational Psychologists are involved in our accredited ELSA training or supervision program, which has been awarded the ELSA Quality Mark.
Key Responsibilities
* To work collaboratively as part of the senior leadership team to develop and support service delivery, strategic planning, and LA initiatives.
* To provide supervision for Educational Psychologists, Psychology Assistant, Assistant Psychologist, and Trainee Educational Psychologists.
* To develop and deliver training and supervision to school and setting staff, applying up-to-date theory and research.
* To support schools to deliver the graduated approach for children, young people, and young adults who may have Special Educational Needs.
