This role will to support the ongoing sustainability of Respiratory services in Gloucestershire, including supporting thoracic malignancy services and interstitial lung disease. Main duties of the job Respiratory medicine has been identified as the vanguard service for the Strategic Transformation Programme for Gloucestershire in recognition of the strong and dynamic links between the acute trust and the community-based integrated respiratory team. This post will be cross county appointments with activities on both sites and, subject to the candidate's skills and interest there will be opportunities to work in the community as well. The successful candidate will participate equally in the departmental ward, hot and on call rota and will be able to develop another subspecialty interest, balanced with the needs of the department. Candidates with interests in interstitial lung disease and long-term ventilation would be particularly welcomed.
