This 18-bed facility provides a recovery-focused pathway, with an admission area (6 beds) and a rehabilitation area (12 beds) featuring a flexible step-down section for patients preparing for community reintegration. Role Overview
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play a vital role in promoting health and independence by delivering high-quality assessments and interventions. You'll provide clinical leadership, supervision, and expertise to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal care for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct occupational therapy assessments, planning, and interventions.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
* Develop and implement policies, care pathways, and student placements.
* Collaborate with a diverse team of clinicians, patients, families, and stakeholders.
* Enhance patient recovery through occupational engagement and skill development.
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Occupational Therapist with post-qualification experience.
* Expertise in clinical reasoning and relevant occupational therapy models.
* Experience with neurodiverse individuals and complex needs.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
