About the opportunity Support and deliver core teaching programs of the discipline, which is a major in English and Literary Studies and a minor in Film Studies and Creative Writing, as well as other units such as Gender Studies and Environmental Humanities. Engage in impactful research and supervise postgraduate projects and students, while enhancing the University’s research profile and community engagement. About you PhD (completed or near completion) in English and Literary Studies or other higher professional qualifications appropriate to the discipline. Demonstrated ability and willingness to teach in a variety of undergraduate units in English and Literary Studies across time periods and themes/genres such as Creative Writing and Film. Evidenced understanding and application of pedagogical philosophies and practices appropriate to English and Literary Studies. Evidence of successful supervision or co-supervision of Honours and/or postgraduate projects, relative to opportunity. Emerging track record of successful competitive funding. Experience in and/or willingness to participate in the editing and publishing of literary magazines/journals.
