Job Summary: Working directly with the Head Professional, the 1st Assistant will oversee the management of the day-to-day golf operations. This individual will present as an extension of the Head Golf Professional. The position has a large range of responsibilities that will rely heavily on the individual’s professional skillsets. Requirements Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Satisfy the wants and needs of the Membership - Exceed Expectations Directly responsible for the Junior Golf Program, all major tournaments and events, men's and woman's league play. Staff recruiting, hiring, and training Directly involved with the merchandise buying plan and management of hard goods. Responsible for the Player Development programs and teaching offerings. Run entire Golf Operation in absence of Head Professional. Experience Required: PGA Class A Member in good standing Private high-end Club experience Tournament administration with Golf Genius at a high level of experience Time management skills / Attention to detail Supervising and delegating Strong teaching ability Qualifications: Written and verbal communication skills Proficient computer skills, POS, and social media presence Required to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, stretch, twist and reach.
