Senior Category Buyer Job Description
Oversee indirect spend categories, including management consultancy and legal services. Negotiate contracts, build supplier relationships, and manage spends. Analyze volume reports, develop strategic plans, and ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations. Collaborate with stakeholders and identify risks within the procurement process.

* Oversee supplier relationships, including KPI tracking and quarterly reviews.
* Manage contracts, including renewal tracking and maintaining the contract register.
* Analyse volume reports to ensure contract benefits and support complex procurement projects.
* Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance cost efficiency and profitability.
* Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation.
* Identify and manage risks within the procurement process.
Requirements:
Significant experience in leading category strategies and managing tendering events. Effective communication, team building, and data analysis skills. Ability to scope, deliver, and execute contractual agreements. CIPS qualification or working towards is advantageous.
