We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Assistant with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our highly prestigious education settings.

This prestigious, international 7 day operation boarding school caters for 517 day pupils as well as 387 boarders and staff and includes not only a breakfast, lunch and supper service but also an extensive hospitality service. This operates 7 days a week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled General Assistant to make a name for themselves within the food service industry and be a part of setting the new standard for education catering.
Job Description
As a General Assistant you will…
1. Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
2. Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
3. Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
4. Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
5. Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
6. Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
Qualifications
1. Ideally have experience working within Education catering
2. Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
3. Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
4. Fun and enthusiastic
5. Have excellent organization skills.
6. Demonstrate great attention to detail.
7. Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
8. Possess great customer service skills.
9. Have a flexible approach to work.
