We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to deliver a highly efficient engineering service for the Ardeer site. Experienced engineering leader, preferably from a 24 hour engineering environment Significant experience within manufacturing Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and effectively interact with all levels within the company Highly motivated, resilient and determined to succeed in this challenging environment Possess excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise whilst maintaining flexibility Proactive and solution focused Delivery innovative cost effective solutions to all engineering problems and meet all engineering targets Develop the engineering plan to ensure that root cause analysis and continuous improvement are carried out across the site Work closely with the Site Manager to drive tactical and strategic actions to achieve optimum availability of production capabilities Manage all aspects of the engineering needs of the business Manage the engineering budget and preventative maintenance plan Ensure that the engineering team is fully utilised and developed whilst balancing the need for contractors Drive change across engineering on site Ensure compliance with all quality, environmental and H&S standards Assist in the scoping out and preparation of capital investment proposals that assist in the achievement of the operational strategic objectives Ensure that all engineering projects are fully scoped out and implemented against timescales and budgets
