Role Outline
The Policy Support Advisor will play a crucial role in enhancing ADS's policy development capacity amidst a rapidly evolving political landscape and significant membership growth. This position is designed to support the ADS Head of Policy with the delivery of both cross-sector policy development and ADS’s security and resilience policy output, enabling them to focus on high-level strategy and representation, as well as providing support to the wider policy team. The successful candidate will contribute to the formulation of policy proposals and papers, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic and influential trade association, with potential for advancement as the organisation continues to expand its policy focus areas.
Skills
* Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in using policy analysis tools and software.
* Must be able to obtain DBS clearance and potentially SC clearance.

Contract & Benefits
Contract: Permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 annually, dependent on experience
Location: Hybrid working - 3 days in the London office and 2 days from home
