Immediate start – Grays Convent High School has a vacancy for a Creative Arts Technician who will work across the Creative Arts Department (Art/Photography and Textiles, Food Technology and Resistant Materials).
The main focus of the job role is:
* to enable pupils’ access to learning by providing technical advice and support in the practical and technical aspects of the curriculum
* to supply technical equipment and resources as directed to support teaching and learning.
* Preparation, assembly and setting up of equipment/components, apparatus, tools and equipment for practical classes and assessments.
* Collecting, caring for and storing of equipment, resources and materials safely.
* Retrieval and clearing away of equipment/materials after lesson use.
This is a permanent, part-time, term time only position and the hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.20am-3.25pm. This is a Band 2, Support Staff position and the salary range is £16,019 and £16,400 dependent on experience. the successful candidate will be required to complete a 6 month probationary period
