Required: Mechanical Contract Manager (Building Services)
Location: South Devon
Salary: up to £60k

Company working for:
A privately owned M&E Contractor specialising in commercial and industrial projects (Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Retail and some Residential). Established for over 6 years, with 20+ staff that are encouraged to work as a team. The business is on target to turn over £5m in 2025 and is moving from small works to larger major projects.
The Role:
Managing Mechanical (Building Services) projects across Devon (& some work in Somerset/Cornwall). The business is moving into more major construction projects, so you will be managing projects valued up to £1m in mechanical services, although the company still has a core of clients that have small works projects (£10k - £250k) that come through as repeat business.
You will ideally have a background in the Mechanical/building services industry and significant experience in project supervision or management roles. MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills are essential.
Duties will include:
1. Liaison/meetings with clients, delivery teams, management and supply chain.
2. Health & Safety management with support from a HSE manager.
3. Attending internal CVR/progress meetings.
4. Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings.
5. Specification and ordering of materials.
6. Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
7. Management and briefing of installation personnel/sub-contractors.
8. Resolving installation and access issues.
9. Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.
10. Programme and project planning.
