This is a technology-based family business and Europe’s largest private technology company. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Chairman and owner. This role will involve working closely with the Chairman in both corporate environments at our Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon and Birmingham, and within his private residence in Warwickshire.
You will thrive in fast paced environment, possess exceptional communication skills, and have experience in audio typing and ideally shorthand.
The Personal Assistant will be responsible for executive administrative assistance, personal assistance, diary management, and clerical skills. The role includes supporting the Chairman in day-to-day tasks, scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements, coordinating communications, and providing general administrative support.
The successful Personal Assistant skills & experience:-
1. Proven and recent experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, preferably supporting senior executives or company leadership.
2. Proficiency in audio typing and ideally shorthand with the ability to transcribe meetings accurately and efficiently.
3. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
4. Effective communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact confidently with individuals at all levels.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
6. Ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
7. Excellent people skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
8. Flexibility and adaptability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
9. Discretion and confidentiality when managing sensitive information and maintaining professional boundaries.
